This episode covers Palestine from 1917-1950 On this episode of Special Cloth Talk the SCT boys give an ernest effort to explain The plight of the Palestinian people, and give historical context to how we arrived to where we are now. This is the first episode of our series on Palestine and hope to inform you all as much as we can. History didn’t start on October 7th, so we feel it’s important to discuss the past 100 years in effort to illustrate some understanding on what we’ve seen on a global scale, the past 7 months.
 
When talking about both sides
The reach for an equivalent when there is none is fundamentally dishonest. With that being said we are not subject matter experts, and encourage you to research as extensively as possible. We hope to arm you with enough knowledge to impact your daily dialogue about Palestine and the genocide they are suffering from by this Israeli far right regime heralded by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Good, The Bad, The Diddy

On this episode of Special Cloth Talk we criticized Diddy’s apology IG video, reacted to Harrison Butker’s commencement speech, and discussed intersectionality. Intersectionality was coined in 1989 by professor Kimberlé Crenshaw to describe how race, class, gender, and other individual characteristics “intersect” with one another and overlap.
 
Intersectionality is the acknowledgement that everyone has their own unique experiences of discrimination and oppression and we must consider everything and anything that can marginalise people – gender, race, class, sexual orientation, physical ability, etc.

In this episode The SCT Brothers analyze the Drake and Kendrick beef as it concludes. The episode opens up with Drake’s Freestyle on Hot 97 infamously know as the “BlackBerry Freestyle” as Drake has a rap malfunction on the show 15years ago. After our breakdown of this pretty lopsided beef we reflect on whether or not Drake devolved or evolved hip hop and describe Drake’s legacy from our point of view.
